The first light bulb, an ancestor of gu10 bulb, cannot quite be attributed to Joseph Swan and Thomas Edison as historians Robert Friedel and Paul Israel can list 22 inventors who preceded them. However, Edison’s version combined three factors: the highest vacuum so far, a high resistance facilitating power distribution from a centralized source, and an effective luminescent material.

Another reason for Thomas Edison’s fame derives from his development of an entire system of electric lighting. Thomas Alva Edison was an American businessmen and inventor, born on February 11th 1847. Dubbed “The Wizard of Menlo Park” by a journalist, Edison was one of the very first inventor to apply mass production principles to the process of invention. Edison also used a large team to put into practice the mass production of inventions, thus one could credit Edison with the establishment of the original industrial research laboratory. On top of inventing the light bulb, Edison also invented the motion picture camera, and the phonograph.

I've been suffering with weird headaches for a while now, so I think I'm going to have to go to my doctor this week.
I was advised that it could be stress, and it could be, but I get it even when I'm not stressed! Ive upped my water intake to make sure it's not dehydration, I'm constantly pouring myself large glasses from my home water purifier and the hot and cold water dispenser at work is my nwe best friend, I do nothing but drink water, cordial and teas at work.

And yes, all my teas are decaf otherwise it actually dehydrates you, so ha!
I think it's computer related, because it's worse when I'm at my computer a lot, but I get it even when I'm away from the screen. Maybe I need glasses or something. I just hope it's not anything serious!

I'm sorry to even blog about this, it's embarrassing, but I've just watched the latest Jersey Shore and there's nobody home to talk to about it!
Oh my god! I never believed Snooki's lame denials about her and Mike, it's so obvious that they hooked up whatever, but he is so disgusting I can't even handle it. He is vile, manipulative, vain and cruel in what he's doing, trying to destroy her relationship with Jionni.

That said, she shouldn't be with Jionni, what a massive doucher! He's cute and he's exactly what she wanted, but he doesn't seem to love her for her, and she's fantastic. Crazy but beautiful, and he should appreciate that.
I love that she ended up with Vinny in the end of this episode too, Snooki + Vinny forever! Shame on Mike!
I can't wait for the next episode, she throws a glass bottle at him, amazing!

I am so excited as this weekend I am off the G-A-Y in Charing Cross for a night out with some friends.
We are going to go for some cocktails and food in Leicester Square and Soho first and then off to the club.
I haven’t been there in ages and this weekend they are having a foam party! I am so excited!
I have a new pair of G Star Jeans to prance around in! Don’t worry I won’t be going int the foam with these babies!
Roll on Saturday!

Lady Gaga stood up for gay rights in America yesterday highlighting the current US policy that prevents homosexuals from serving openly in the army.
Deciding not to opt for her usual elaborate attire, Lady Gaga donned the stage in a suit and tie and said: Equality is the prime rib of America. Shouldn't everyone deserve the right to wear the same meat dress that I do? Repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" or go home.'
The 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy was put in place in by former US president Bill Clinton in 1993.
Lady Gaga, a popular gay icon also went on to say by shunning homosexuals, the US military doesn't 'get to enjoy the greatest cut of meat my country has to offer'.
